The exact recipe behind Scuttlebutt remains a secret, as RoMa Craft has chosen not to disclose the blend. What the company has revealed is its connection to Whiskey Rebellion 1794, a line recognized for its high priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Scuttlebutt takes that familiar foundation in a more restrained direction, giving the seasoned RoMa Craft aficionado something distinctly different to explore.
Scuttlebutt is part of the CRAFT Maquette Series, a collection that gives RoMa Craft room to experiment outside its regular portfolio. Some Maquette releases are entirely unique creations, while others reimagine existing blends and concepts. Scuttlebutt belongs to the latter category, presenting a fresh interpretation of an established RoMa Craft favorite.
True to the understated character of the series, the cigars are packaged in simple craft paper bundles and finished with colored ribbons rather than conventional cigar bands.
Only 1,800 bundles of 10 cigars have been produced, for a total release of just 18,000 cigars. With limited availability and a direct connection to Whiskey Rebellion 1794, Scuttlebutt is a compelling pickup for RoMa Craft enthusiasts and collectors of the brand’s smaller production releases.
