Description
Created in celebration of what would have been family patriarch José O. Padrón’s 99th birthday, the Padrón Black No. 99 stands as a bold tribute to the unmatched legacy of the Padrón family, made for those who seek both commanding strength and refined elegance. Cloaked in a dark, gleaming Nicaraguan wrapper with a gentle oily sheen, this cigar radiates sophistication before the flame even touches its foot. Inside rests a carefully aged selection of premium Nicaraguan long-fillers, chosen with precision to deliver richness, balance, and an unshakable smoothness.
From the first spark, the No. 99 greets the palate with deep notes of espresso and dark cocoa that awaken the senses. Soon after, layers of cedar, leather, and earthy spice unfold, building a complex harmony. As the journey continues, warm hints of cinnamon and nutmeg rise to the surface, blending seamlessly with the cigar’s natural sweetness. In the final stretch, the profile deepens into a savory, woody character with a lingering peppery finish that encourages deliberate and thoughtful smoking.
Every moment with the No. 99 reflects Padrón’s unwavering devotion to excellence. The draw is effortless, the burn remains straight and clean, and the ash holds firm with admirable strength. Medium to full in body yet remarkably smooth, this cigar captivates with presence and power while never overwhelming the senses.
