The Highclere Castle Edwardian Toro from Foundation Cigars is an exceptional smoke that everyone should have in their humidor! The name was influenced by the location where “Downtown Abbey” was filmed ( pretty cool right? It’s even printed on the inside of the box). It is wrapped in a golden Connecticut shade leaf with a binder that consists of a special blend of ancient Mata Fina tobacco.
The Highclere Castle Edwardian filler is something super duper cool. Nick Melillo, owner and master blender of Foundation, states that the some of the filler leaves come from their hybrid-seed called the Nicadan. This adds a generous amount of flavor and strength to it that’s unique to this line of cigars. Hints of spice, dried fruit and a subtle smokiness can all be noted.
