Description
Some blends are created for the moment. Others are set aside, waiting until everything about them feels right. Safe Keepings comes from that second category, a cigar drawn from Alan Rubin’s private blend archives, now finally brought into the light.
Crafted as a true Nicaraguan puro, the blend pulls from the country’s most respected growing regions. Tobaccos from Jalapa, Estelí, and Condega form the heart of the cigar, each contributing its own character, from aromatic sweetness to structure and strength. A rich Habano maduro wrapper completes the composition, adding depth and a darker, more indulgent edge.
On the palate, the experience leans into boldness without losing control. Earth and spice lead the way, supported by a savory richness that carries through the smoke. As it develops, a natural sweetness begins to surface, softening the edges and bringing balance to the profile.
Safe Keepings feels intentional, like a blend that was never rushed, only waiting for the right time to be appreciated. It is a cigar that delivers both substance and story, rewarding those who enjoy a deeper, more grounded expression of Nicaraguan tobacco.
